Saunalahti scenery
Late summer scenery from Saunalahti in central Helsinki. This is a mostly protected sea bay in the middle of Helsinki area, but not in the city center as one can see. PS. I havenīt posted any photos on web for a long time and forgot how to properly sharpen photos for web use. This again looks much softer on web than it was before conversion.

Nice composition! It's good to have you back.

Thanks Katrina!
Thank you Katrina! This year I have been photographying less than usually. I blame on the poor light. Maybe it is the climate change, but during last autumn and winter (seasons that inspire me most) we had mostly a poor light and to my big disaapointment hardly any snow at all. And summer wasnīt promising either. Now we had simply too many too sunny cloudless days and personally I donīt much like hard, harsh light that washes out the colours. Like a well know French photographer Alain Briot said: "A good picnic weather isnīt necessarily a good weather for phtotography". But now the autumn is about to begin again (2-3 weeks late do to climate change) so letīs see how it turns out this time.
Best regards, Pekka.
