Cladonia

Wow, this looks a lot like the Cladonia's that grow on the older Redwood trunks or redwood rails in Big Basin Redwoods State Park, Santa Cruz County California.

We have a lot of them on one road, that the books and local Lichen authorities state should be across the country or elsewhere, chemical analysis would be needed to get to species.

Thanx Scott... I am just thrilled whenever I see some of them; The M-con40 on the 105mm is a great find for
all this very small stuff
