Barred Owl original image
I am posting this photo to show how well the Olympus 70-300mm lens produces images. The previous post of the barred owl showed only the head of the owl. To produce that image, I cropped this image to show just the head. Even at ISO 400, the E-520 with the Olympus 70-300mm lens at 263mm focal length did a great job. The camera was supported on the edge of a partially opened car window (no tripod was used) and the shutter was triggered with the finger-release button.
