Excellent shot,good composition,purple with OOF background in white looks very good,the only thing that lacks in this picture is details and blown out portions in bird.

Thanx fore commeting this picture Syed. Do i do not fully understand what youre trying to tell me with the "blown out portions in bird"? I have some trubble understanding what you wrote espacially because of the fact that this poicture has being used in a Dutch magazine about birds and won a contest with birdphotography

I rate this as a "10". Cool composition, colours, lighting. And most of all this really amazing combination of DOF - sharp and unsharp parts of the image. I'm not surprised this won a contest.
