Nice one...

What happened to the "matoes"?

Hi Olav, glad you like.
Physalis is a herbaceous plant, similar to the common tomato - a relative - but usually with a stiffer, more upright stem; they can be either annual or perennial.
So in a way this is closer to a tomato then you thought eh :-)

Thank you Bev.
Simple shot that took a week to come up with the approach that I wanted.
Getting older eh ;-)

I really like this picture, though to what extent it is a photograph I am not entirely sure! Many years ago I used to experiment with combinations of drawing and photography but I never got a picture I liked.
I don't honestly know how to rate this (as a photograph) so whatever rating I give, please don't think I dislike the picture!

Photograph or drawing or drawing and photograph?

Thanks Mike.
Hey a rating is a rating, shows you were interested enough to spend a little time getting acquainted.
As I mentioned to Bevellee, it took me a week to come up with how I wanted to portray these two little cherries and guess I was influenced by prints from Japan.
As I have carved and built my sets in the past this was just another vehicle to give life to an idea.
In my commercial work and carvings, it's not the means but the end result that counts so,
hopefully I achieved that.
Thanks again Mike
