I like this, the huts contrasting against the brick houses behind. I did wonder about the expanse of shingle in the foreground but after looking a few times I think it works ok and is balanced by the busy top part of the image.
A brave compositional decision I think

Thanks Mike, this image was shot for the design company producing a brochure for a property development company. The idea was to emphasise the idea of a quaint town by the sea. I always set out to create thought provoking images with my work, challenging the viewers perception of what they know against what the see. (If that makes sense?)

BTW, heavy vignetting (look at the bottom corners). Perhaps a smaller aperture would have helped?

You mean, the vignetting is intentional? I thought it was a technical lens issue. If you used vignetting intentionally, ignore my comment.
