Buddha of the hillside
Winter is taking grip with temperatures well below -10®C. Sitting next to the fireplace memories of summertime and travels comes to my mind. Not so many days ago Stephen from Malaysia published a shot of a laughing Buddha. This shot is from Thailand (Phuket) and the monastery of Chalong. Please feel free to comment...

I'm am very humble to Buddha and the wisdom of Buddhism.
Being from Scandinavia we are (like in most European countries) raised in a Christian culture with faith to our fellow man (and woman).
I think we can learn allot of respect looking to Buddhism.
I'm sorry to say that I don't know anything of his hand movement or figure, maybe somebody can help us out?
