Malalag Bay is a tranquil cove that serves as the refuge to most fishermen within the area in time of the monsoons. As mining for precious metals in the mountains several kilometers away by an Australian company, the natural harbor will be its shipment base. With the rape and destruction of the forest in favor for the open pit mining, the Bay area is awaiting for its perdition from environmental cataclysm and chemical poisoning in the name of Development.

Future Disaster?
Very nice shot Czaldy and important. Be sure to document this development as best as possible in the future. Perhaps an Australian Greenpeace chapter would be interested in your photos as it's one of their company's that is doing this. Something that I like to do with wide lenses and water shots is to hold the camera just above the water line. I find it is more dramatic, but then again everyone has their personal likes Ect:
