Very nice indeed
Just a question - did you take this in the garden or in a studio? Off-camera flash?

Thanks...

Thank you for the rating.
This picture is a real outdoor one, taken in my garden.
The "crime scene": existing background with light grey/blue tone - almost no wind - handheld - no flash - WB set to "clouds" (altough it was sunny) - compensation: -0,3 EV.
I shoot three times to get what I intended to reach: the focus applied straight on the closer petals.
On the monitor: a slightly over-exposed picture with some good bright spots and details plus a smooth background waiting to be darkened (easily) when playing with light and contrast.
I only had to process as usually...(a lot of job!)
So, I hope, Jim, having answered clearly to your question.
My regards.
Victor.

Blue one
Victor,
Another great composition and lightning.
Even with such processing, the Nature...is there!
People like you makes me feel positive and get my E500 and ZD50f2 macro out of the bag and go crazy to the field, shooting. But we need talent. Give me a little bit of! Joking!

Thank you Antonio for your kind comment. I expect you going shortly on the job.
Hope to view some of your works very soon.
Have a fine day.
