Hello Bruce. Frankly speaking, I donīt like the green-black framing... but whatīs inside - and thatīs the main thing - I like a lot. Especially the mountains have turned out very well - almost like painting.
Great job! Pekka

Hello Pekka...

I get a lot of complaints about my frames. But I will not post to the internet without them. Why?

Because I get a lot of images stolen.

And the Frames (and small copyright) does seem to help. I guess image thieves are too lazy to crop out the frame and copyright?

Glad you liked what was inside the frame.

I really love my new E30...

Take Care...

Great example of a shot not spoiled by the overcast sky. Great reflections in that lake. Did this come straight out of the camera or did you apply some postprocessing?

Thanks to all...

Alfred...

I did adjust levels, sautration and sharpness but not much was done in post processing. It's a good example of the E30 'protecting the highlights' from burnout.

Yosemite Framed

Yosemite , a wonderful place as we can see ......!!
Agree about the framing , doesn't add anything to the image ...
About the reason you wrote to Pekka I only can say this , in the quality uploaded here on myolympus ( max 500kb ) you can make a regular print 10x15 cm ....who is going to buy that Bruce.....?
So I would say , don't worry about stolen images , it happens allover the web.....
I like to see the copyright sign in a corner....
Using a frame however , well as I said , it should add some value to the images IMHO...
Anyway....the image is perfect and yes the E30 is a perfect camera , I have it as backup camera next to the E3..
Wishing all the best......and keep posting ...with or without frame.....;-)))))

Wonderful picture!
While the framing is, perhaps, a matter of taste, I do find it distracting so that I can't view the image properly without it intruding
