NO SUBJECT

Nice shot, pretty model. I also like the composition and choice of viewing angle. I just wonder if it would have been better to have larger parts of the face in focus - currently only the area around the eyes is in focus.

Nice composition

The thumbnail version of this caught my eye, buut I have to agree with Alfred that having only the eye in focus is distracting.

When I first looked at it, I thought that you might have artificially blurred it in photoshop, but then I saw that you shot it with the Sigma 30MM wide open. The other consequence of using that lens is that her face is distorted and her nose appears to be rather large.

I would suggest taking a look at this page and re-considering whether that lens is the best choice for portraits (I have one and never use it for portraits): http://www.stepheneastwood.com/tutorials/lensdistortion/strippage.htm

I like your creativity and your composition. You (and other viewers) may find these things pleasing, but I think they detract from what could have been a truly fantastic image. Everyone sees things a little differently!
