Dunnottar Castle Scotland
The cloud looked like an evil alien face dominating a castle where evil things were done.

well I really do like most of this - but I think there is too much sky! Whatever you think the cloud looks like - it is not really part of the picture and it distracts from the castle and its wonderful environment. Bottom two-thirds, fantastic!

Thanks for the feedback from you both. I am fairly new at this and it is interesting that two of my colleagues at work had different opinions.
One said, as is said here, there is way too much sky and the other said the sky made the picture. I'll maybe try cropping it into a pano and remove some of the sky to see what it is like. Thanks.

Wow
My first impression was "wow", what a view. I agree that the picture is a bit imbalanced, either there is not enough foreground or too much sky at the top.

Dramatic Photograph
A good eye!
I disagree with the comment about the sky being unimportant. The unusual cloud formation in the sky is what makes this image so dramatic. I would tilt the camera up a little more so the horizon is on the bottom 1/3 line (rule of thirds).
An excellent subject for Black & White!

Thanks for the feedback. I am glad Bob likes the sky as my intent was for it to dominate the castle, but the overall opinion seems to be a bit of repositioning would have improved this shot.
