Very nice Salmon dish. By seeing this I get homesick to Vancouver where I was this year and had many off those .

First Randall, you do excellent shots, I am always impressed.

You are so prolific, do you do photography for a living? You must love the super bright lens of the 5050.

Do you ever use RAW mode?

Thank you for that Christopher. To answer your questions, yes I am a Pro Shooter and in the 49 years since I picked up a camera I have photographed most everything from Theatre to Forensic to Models, Product, Food ECT. Before digital I mostly used Large Format? I must admit I do like the control of the swings, tilts ECT.? I purchased my first Digital camera in 2000 and as it did not have the ability to shoot RAW I got used to the JPEG format, however when I purchased the 5050 I started shooting in TIFF, particularly when doing Product / Tabletop shots. Since the fall of 2004 I more or less shoot all this in RAW now and convert to TIFF for my work and JPEG for this site. I do like the ?fast? lens for model work, and when using fill flash to keep the ambient light but still give some sparkle!
