I've developed a fascination with the dandelions since they have started sprouting in my yard so much this year.

This photo is the first in a series of three on dandelions.

This shot was taken late morning as the sun came in at a great angle making the dandelions glow.

I noticed this bee on one and using my trusty 50mm f2.0 macro lens got down on my knees to take a shot.

The bee ignored me and busily went about his business of gathereing pollen. His back half firmly rooted on the flower head, while his front half was a blur of side to side and up and down motion.
