Tobbaco Kilns
No longer used. There are thousands of similar kilns in various states of disrepair.

> Hi Rina.... many of the farms in this part of Ontario that previously grew tobacco have moved to other crops or in some cases gone bankrupt. Most of the farms that now grow other crops still have these old kilns (some farms have 20 or more) sitting empty, probably not good for anything else and costly to dismantle. They are a very common site all over the previous tobacco growing area where some tobacco is still grown today. Hope that helps... Bob
