Thanks for the comment. I am quite pleased with these and several other shots from what was only my second attempt at photographing any kind of field game. More to the point, my eldest son - No. 17 - is delighted with them!!

I must say that despite its weight and length when set to 200mm the 50-200mm hand-holds beautifully. Focusing is also generally very good - just the odd shot where it is a little out. I reckon the ne SWD version will be an absolute cracker especially on the more recent bodies. The E3 and the new lens should be something else!!
