well.. I love clouds ... and often in landscape photography they are sometimes the most important (in seascapes) and often
one of the main compositional elements. Many average or dull landscape picture would look much better if there were at least
some life in the sky. Clouds add sometimes subtlety sometimes drama to landscapes and hardly anything look so boring in photo as a large portion of completely empty and lifeless sky... unless one intentionally tries to express that feeling of emptiness and space.
Unfortunately many beginning photographer try to imitate typical tourist brochure illustrations and the results are too often unimaginative and mediocre.
My problem is that I haven´t yet found a good way to save the original sharpness of photos also in these greatly resized small web versions. Originals look top sharp on my screen but awfully soft in web.
