Utu
"Utu" is a Finnish word for this light mist that rises from water of this small swamp pond early in the morning after a very cold night.

Very nice... the mist, clouds and reflections make this a very beautiful capture... well done..

Excellent landscape shot, Pekka. The perception of depth is very good.
Best regards,

This is a magnificent shot.. its really almost like a painting. What I would do with this.. is enlarge it to about 16x20 and have it printed up on canvas.. then mount it in a frame like you would an oil painting.. marvelous!

Utu - re-visited:
Pekka -
In a word - splendid.
If this is what your part of the planet looks like then I must say that you and your E-330 are likely to be quite busy shooting landscapes throughout summer.
As Frank said, this would make a magnificent print; something like 16 x 20 would be fine - indeed.

Thank you Leon,
Well.. this part of planet doesn´t very often look like this, but occasionally on a very rare moments it may appear like this and reveal its wonders to a happy and lucky photographer who happens to be in a right place in a right time and ready.
This was shot about 30 minutes after sunrise about 6.30 AM but without morning light with clouds and mist this would have looked just like any other of about 40 000 other more or less similar small swamp ponds in Finland.
Pekka.

Thank you!
Thank you all for your generous comments! I guess I shoud try to make a larger print of this just to see how it would look like. So far I have only made standard 10x13 or
10x15cm prints.
Regards, Pekka.
