I'm not surprised to hear that Peggy's Cove is the most photographed fishing village in Canada. You have definitely captured the charm with your E-500.
Great composition and the colors are most appealing. Having said that, I can't help but wonder what an ND (neutral density) filter or a polarizer filter might do. I suspect they might help saturate the colors a bit more, which wouldn't hurt. Just the same - it's a great shot!

I was concerned that i would lose surface reflections with polarizer. wish i had of taken time to take a shot with it but was losing light fast.

I agree with Leon's comment about the ND filter... it would have toned down the very bright spots in the image... I have been to Peggy's Cove many times and your image does it justice... I can spend a day in and around the area and not get bored... beautiful.
