Coot and Turtle
Fons,
Good and unusual composition, I love the Coots postsure. For me it would have been even better if the Coots eye had caught the light. Was it closed?
Kindest Regards: Peter

Coot and Turtle - re-visited:
Fons -
It is little wonder that your photos are found more often than anyone else in the 'Top Image' section of the MyOlympus-dot-org website.
The composition of this shot is perfect; this is high drama in the wild (albeit on a small scale).
Technically, of course, once again your exposure and focus (along with the aforementioned composition) are spot on, and as Peter notes the coot's posture is very powerful.
As for your equipment, the E-510 is worth every Euro you spent and the ED 300 is simply amazing; the resolution that lens is staggering. The detail of the coot's feathers is sublime.
