From your link, I can see that the bird should not be here at all, but that cannot be entirely correct. I have seen them for several years, both in great numbers ?plowing? north and as this couple. As everything else today, it may have something to do with the global warming.

I am trying to get a grip on telephoto which is not an easy task, especially if you don?t have a tripod at hand. This was one of my more lucky shots.
