Very cool photo I love infrared pictures ...... I have a hoya r72 filter for my e300 but not really sure how to properly use it and then how to get it from the red tones into the nice image you have. If you have any helpful hints for me that would be great

R-72 and teh E-300
Hello Reece...
With the E-300, use the R-72 on ISO 400, change the function to be B&W or Sepia, use a TRIPOD and takes some shots. Then you use your Photoshop to increase the contrast, Most digitals produce a "too flat" image and you have to juice up the contrast.
I am using early Olympus cameras that are more sensitive to Infrared light than the latest models are. The Olympus C-2000Z, C-2020Z and C-2100UZ are the 'Gold Standard' for making the Infrared shots. Your E-300 will work, but exposures will be long (MUST use Tripod) and the image will be very flat, you will have to work harder in Photoshop...
