Cheeky, standing
This is the same bird showing his full body view. These shots were posted in particular because Fons Von Svaal has been asking me to take some shots of my own birds which we have at home in aviaries. This breed (rainbow lorikeet) is native to our local area (Adelaide, South Aust) and they eat the nectar from the local flowering trees, which is the majority of their diet.

Sorry I spelt your name wrong (above) Fons. I haven't posted anything for a few weeks because we lost our beautiful baby weimaraner puppy to an inoperable illness a fortnight ago and I haven't felt up to posting/browsing. She was the one I posted all the puppy shots of. A very sat time for me.
I hope you like these shots, will try and get some of the other birds too. Ingrid
