I like this shot very much , the Heron is captured and framed excellent, the wings a little OOF but this gives a nice impression of movement ...

Hi Karen, I do like this picture, and agree with Fons and Nigel, However I think that it is rather too dark, and needs the mid range (gamma) brightening.

Breathtaking
Karen -
Outstanding! As they say in the game of 'hoops': Swish - nothing but net, a perfect shot.
Composition, color, crispness - and timing all came together at 1/800th of a second in this superb capture. And btw - even if Mike is right about the gamma brightening thing, this is a grand shot, just the way it is.
