Well, actually - I like this shot a lot. The only fault I find with this image is the bit of vegetation that's hanging down from the top edge, to the left of mid-frame. The bridge is the obvious subject (focus) of this photo and it is certainly sharp enough; whether or not the foggy background is out of focus is (to me) moot. Once again you've played with the colors, resulting in a surreal scene.

Just curious, where was this photo taken?

Photography can be very subjective...this photo is considered on another site as my best photo and won a hall of fame award!!!
Taken at an artificial lake "Curia Park" Aveiro,Portugal, about 50 000 m2 of rare beauty.

I could decrese brightness but i would decrease contrast bridge/background; nothing wrong with your monitor, only warm colors and strong highlights.
PS: this is the place i was born, i try something surreal...my weakness.
