Well catched! I like the line across the river with the variaton of smooth (river) and heavy (grass) and of course the teh heron.

G'Day Fons:
Another great capture; great timing - composition - color - focus - et cetera (again!).
BTW: This might be a silly question, but you do use a mono-pod, don't you? If so, what kind? That's a mighty hefty lens to hold steady - if even for just a fraction of a second. In fact it's quite a load to be carrying around all day.

A question never asked is a silly one...;-))
I use a aluminium mono pod and a Monfrotto tripod very sturdy one , because it has to carry lots of weight ..
Right you are , when making field trips it's a heavy load to carry around but you have to do something for it to make nice shots isn't it..;-))
