This may not be a very good shot but here's the story.

I saw this bird on a park boobing up and down on the grass when suddenly it disappeared. I went to the spot and noticed a man made hole for electrical cables. I opened the lid and there i saw this bird, with i think three day old hatchlings. it must be very angry at me. =) It flew past me before i could take another shot.

yep you are right ole. but i cant afford to lose a another second to compose this because the bird may escape and it did after i pressed the shutter. It was very close to the camera.

Quality bad.....? I don?t think so.
You made a nice shot from a nesting bird, also the bird has a little nice catch light in it's eye.
The head and beak are very nice exposed and sharp.
OK it's a half bird , no legs.... but there fore you get the little chickens .
Maybe to make it more interesting you could cut off the part above the head and make the background a little darker.

Thank you Fons. When i shot this bird i was not thinking of anything but to take a picture before it flies. Anyway thanks to all of you. im not good at shooting birds. =) i think this bird is looking for worms on the ground. anybody can tell me whats the name of this fella?

Hello Marco,
Nice shot of this bird. A pity you can see only a part of the bird.
This bird is called hoopoe.
It can also be found in Holland, the dutch name is hop.
