Winterday in the Kinderdijk(nl)
I like your pictures; do not know if this is the best or very close it. Frames look just fine, although they sometimes (at least for me) take attention away from the main object. I would put by Fons von Swaal on the second line, so the title and the name would have space of their own.
When I lived in California I saw many markets where photographers would frame their work and sell it for not so small amounts. Especially the ones with the European motifs. I thought they looked kind of cool and inviting. So you might promote your village as well, on one of those Sunday before noon markets. They have plenty of those here in Austria. Have you thought about it?

Thanks Sergey for the comment, and suggestions.
Good idea to go too the market with some prints and make some money on the site.
If I sell you get an profit from the first 10....;-)
I changed the "name" under the picture , made three lines out of it IMO looks even better.( Good advice )
You are right saying "Frames look just fine, although they sometimes take attention away from the main object."
This was an experiment I did not do before. I have seen a few frames on the site so I thought give it a try...
I think if you keep the frames in a sober colour not to outrages then they can work fore some pictures but not all...!

Fons, I really like your picture. and to be honest, I was so impacted with the picture in the frame, that I not realize which style did you use to write the title and your name. Congratulations
