Norwegian Scenery
This is from the Filefjell area in Norway.
I saw the scenery in the rear mirror of the car, while driving from Bergen to Oslo this summer, and I just had to stop and try to capture it on a picture. Any critique, comment, or suggestion will be highly appreciated. Cheers, Jens.

A beautiful dramatic scenery of light and shadow and impressive landscape we have the luck to see in this great 2D creation !
I tuff task concerning handling the contrasts and preserving (reproducing) the colours in the dark areas !
Would be interesting the see the orig. RAW Jens !

Thank you for sharing the original exposure Jens !
I tried quite a time to tune this Jpg near to that what is shown in your final foto !
But I only could come close with the either the sky and light OR the mountains and green - but never both together!
I was not able either to remove the blue caps on the snow patches to the left as you managed to do ?
Did you treat the sky separatly in PSP ?
Working on the original RAW I assume gives you some more possibilities !
Anyways, your shot and PSP work is perfect for me !
For shure the "real" experience at the spot concerning colours and contrast was a bit different to that what the final product shows, but that never was a probleme for me - in contrary I like to see the personal touch even in a documentary !
Kind regards Dirk

Also on my monitor there is this slight colour cast. I wonder if this is coincidence or done to make the scene more dramatic?

That could be an idea. Do you want an image to appear if a link points to an image ? I could try modifying the code if that makes sense.

Jens,
I never visit Norway. I wonder if the green of this picture is natural. In my experience of other countries it looks as having a little too much blue. But the shot is very fine. The light is superb, as the shape of clouds. Composition couldn't be better.

Piero,

I think you will find the nordic countries amazingly green.
