Strange surface of Alkali Lake in Oregon. Taken from about 20' above the ground while flying my ultralight powered parachute.

Great lighting
Like this shot but I could live without the distant hills. Cropping the top quarter improves the image IMO.

This reminds me of Death Valley after a storm. I like the photo a lot as is, because it gives a sense of context. However, I'd agree with Dave that a crop would make a better image. Scroll down on the screen blocking the top portion. Doing so makes the pattern appear to continue forever.
