processed using a "Cross Process" treatment. Cross process was a technique developed in the 60s that used the developing solutions for one type of film such as color slide on a different film type such as color negative.

The resulting images had striking and sometimes jarring colors.

I used it here for a late 60s/70s style with a faux retro look suitable to the subject.

Something distracted her. I pressed the shutter. Taken late afternoon in the Oz spring sunshine. Very warm feel.

July has been too sunny (and hot) to enjoy photographying outdoors so there has been time to fool with found objects at home. There are majiang (mah-jong) tiles, modern Yixing teapot of Ming design, a copy of Shanghai Daily and a tourist map of Olde Peking. Majiang tiles are beautifully made faux antique. They look and feel old but Arabic numbers and Latin letters expose the plot. EP-2 has a half case of Italian leather made by Korean Jnk-handworks on it. For fourthirds users there is a hidden "secret message" in photo;)

Aesthetically speaking this "still life" is probably too crowded but I was just playing.
