Christopher Manison Snowy Owl

Snowy owl at a local falconry centre. The feathers of the snowy owl have no pigment. This leaves more space for air which helps to keep the owl warmer because air is such a good insulator and it also makes the owl white.

Fillip ter Haar so many flowers, so little time!

The very fast and caustious Kolibri-butterfly. Always visitting flower after flower for its never ending thirst. Tricky to get sharp and at the right place. I have made a lot of shot's for some right ones.
