Forest fires hundreds of mile to the north in Georgia produced a smokey haze that winds brought south to the Myakka River State Park in Sarasota, Florida. The increased particulate matter in the atmosphere produced this brilliant orange sunset the likes of which I have never seen. The air here is usually so clean that the such intense colors are rare.

This was taken out side the front of my home looking out towards Mottram Village. The plane you can see is making its final approuch to Manchester Airport.
