I like this picture. The door seems of the beginning of last century. I have just a doubt, but take it as a personal feeling: was it possible to take the picture later to have less shadow on the door?

Thanks, Piero. Unfortunately the time was limited (as with most opportunities in life ;-)).
But I also doubt that this would have improved the picture significantly.
If you look at the golden paintings (I don't know if these are real paintings or something else) at the left side, the contrast with the white wall is less than within the shadow so they wouldn't "shine" as intensively as they do here.
But I hope that I can return one day and perhaps the sun will shine ...
