complex simplicity

I like your choice of lighting, composition and perspective. I would experiment a little with letting the subject bleed past one or more edges of the frame to increase the mystery and drama. A person could get a lot of satisfaction exploring the combinations and permutations of a seemingly simple subject like this.

Right you are Bert. There is just enough hours in a day. Will try at leat one more idea with our gruesome friend ;-) If you haven't looked at Edward Weston's "Pepper Series" check it out, and you can see exactly want you mean. Regards, Randall
