Nice retro

Hi Lorri!
Very nice "retro". Composition is perfect and the picture conveys the mood very well. Only I do not think that that oil painting effect has succeeded. It does not look like an oil painting at all - have you seen oil paintings in sepia colours? I would have taken the common approach and add some scratches, dustspots, broken edges and whatever effects there are. The options are naturally indefinite...
Having myself been once a small boy who spent his whole childhood in a house by the lake this picture brings me fond memories.

Beautiful

Lorri
I was quite excited when I saw the thumbnail and was not disappointed when the image came up on my monitor, I really like what you have done here the overall effect is lovely and has a fine art feel to it, I can imagine seeing this picture as a poster or Birthday card.

One's there was a ......

You digged far to post a new picture I see ( ? 2004 )
however I like the style. The picture has a nice scene , the little guy is fishing and you sneeked up on him , I guess he never noticed you ....

I like the "Sepia" style to it , it makes it like this picture is take 100 years ago..
