Weathered Faces
Faces weathered by time. These are old women belonging to one of the indigenous tribes in the Philippines. Poverty has forced them to begging on the roadside or near the places where tourists go. One cannot but simply express pity on their plight.

Nice B&W,picture tells a lot.A small remark about the framing,to tight at my opinion.Or you take more Depth of field focussing the centered woman,or take the group and give them a little more space.
Nevertheless, this is top photojournalism, sharp, good contrast, great black and white.

I agree that the picture is lacking in some of the technical aspects. Thanks for the comments.

Hi Fons,
Thanks for the comments. Unfortunately its not a cropped picture. I agree with what Chris commented that I framed it too tight.
I was so moved with this picture that it took me a year before I decided post it here for public viewing.

Nice documentary photo, a little overexposed but very dramatic in B&W. Regards,
