I went for a walk with my Grandchild and we came home with some "Katjes" made a few pictures from it and guess what, Sergey had the same idea as I.
This is fun I think, two people far apart made almost at the same moment the same picture.....

This is funny, Fons. Not only it is the same subject, but also we used similar angle to frame it. Did you shoot in RAW because of the highlights? My biggest problem was that the whites were getting quite burned out, so I had to repeat it several times till I saw it right. In fact the third bud in my first image does not look quite right to me, but that is ok for now, I think.

The ED50 does in fact look quite sharp. I keep going back and forward with the idea if I should buy it or if I should get 35mm instead.

Thanks for the comment Sergey.
There was no special reason for me to shoot in RAW, the camera was still set to it I noticed.
About the lens:
At the time I bought the 50mm f2.0 there was no 35mm on the market so I could not compare.
The f2.0 from the 50mm is better than the f3.5 from the 35mm, but the 50mm is almost twice the money from the 35mm.
It's hard to make a choise I guess, try them out both if you have the change.
Good luck on making your choise ....;-)

Beautiful compostion, sharpen, nice colors!, maybe a little over exposed due to the silky hairs. Best regards,
Ricardo

Thank you Ricardo for the comment.

Yes the silky hairs of these bud's are so delicate and they take lots of light....
