Thanks Shelley for the comment.
Due of the wide angle lens ED11-22mm I managed to get the birds on the ice floor as also the windmills.
I understand what you are saying.
When the sun will come out again and I hope there is still some ice left on the canal I will go back and will shoot from another perspective.
This to give you the memories back you where over there...( Was it in the winter or summer? )
To bad we did not see each other, it is one of my favourite places to.
Special in summer time to make long bike rides along the canal al the way in to the polders.
