Very nice rich autumnal colours Fons, I like how you have put the background out of focus to isolate the mushroom.
I like this one better than your Autumn (2) shot (which is also a good shot!)
Cheers Steve

Thank you Steve for the comment, really appreciate it.

I uploaded the Autumn (2) to give an impression where I took those pictures.
Autumn (2) show's the forest background a little more.

Thanks again,,

Best regards,

Hi Dirk,
Thanks for the comment, yes the white spots looklike clay but it is like calcium when you see it in real.
Dont know if those Mushrooms collect calcium from the soil and burst the overload they have out of there roof...
Have to look in to that, interesting subject again..

Thanks and best regards,

Hi Fons,

Indeed, great detail and perfect colors/light.
The red is just like it should be.

Greetings fillip

Mooie foto

I like this one, colours and light are very nice. I'm not completely certain about the sharpness at the bottom of the mushroom. Probably easier said than done ;-).
Daar zit kabouter Prikkebeen dus op te wippen!!!

Thank you Fillip
The colors/light happened when sunlight came thru the clouds and fell on to the toadstool .
The red color on the roof is a little brighter due off that sunlight I guess.

Thanks Willem for the comment....
Walking with my grandchild thru the forest nearby our place we spotted this little toadstool from "Prikkebeen"
Of course we made a few picture's and we went on singing the song well know in Holland , I don?t have the title in English....
