Nice Shot! Good contrast and lighting. Looks a little noisy in darker areas. Compression?

15 seconds exposure = NOISE
It is as 15 sec exposure ! - so it HAS TO be noisy ! Should have done it with at least ISO 150 I guess ! Thank you for dropping in Randy !

Good composition and atmosphere. The little boat reveale a pleasant site. B&w is my passion. I suggest you to test the conversion whith mix channels of photoshop ( in to the palette levels). Here you Have a control incredible of tonal scale according to your taste.

Thank you Randy and Thank you Sergio for your sympathy for this night frame ! It was one of my first fotos with the 8080 and digital ! My knowledge of picture editing is still basic and I am still not able to get the best out of a frame (i.e. have not tried jet to treat channels seperatly..)! I am still using an older version of PSP (Paint Shop Pro) and PSP (i have 6.0) is still waiting to be explored by me ...

Still it's a good shot!
I have been in the photo editing/retouching industry (Prepress-Printing) for 18 years and believe me it is not something you learn over night. I still don't know what I'm doing. The photography is what is most important. If start with a good shot you will need little if any photo editing. Unlike me you?re a knowledgeable photographer and your shots show it.
