Sunrise in Lake Caliraya
Nature blessed us with this beautiful sunrise in Lake Caliraya (Laguna Philippines) after a cancelled expedition to Mt. Pulag (to watch sunrise above the clouds)

I know sun rests in the west, but how can you tell watching a foto with a sceneyy like this if it is a sunrise or sunset ? Nice mood in this picture ! Regards

Little black dot?
Very nice sun rice, what is that little black dot in the centre off the water? Is it a burned out pixel.....

Re
Thanks Fons. Re the black dot, im not really sure. It can be just some piece of drift wood sticking out :)

Re
Thanks Dirk. You are right it is difficult to distinguish sunset from sunrise photos. However sunrise photos seem to have bluer skies (or maybe just the ones I saw).
I was pretty disappointed when our expedition to Pulag was cancelled because sunrise there is really spectacular. Mother Nature has proven she can dish out spectacular sunrises anywhere :)
BTW, the lake is a man made lake on top of a mountain . The lake was formed when American engineers built a dam there in 1943.

Pretty nice!
Very nice Allan! Got a nice photo here! I do see the very small black dot in the center as another observer noted. But didn't see it until it was pointed out. Just a nice one...compo and exposure is right on the money.
