Too bad the cars were in the foreground. The building is beautiful and needs to be seen without anydistractions.

I like the cars!
I quite like the photo with the cars - the Hall is magnificent but is well used and surrounded by the life of a busy town - knowing the history of this deeply tragic place makes you feel hopeful for the most terrible places on earth. I have submitted a photo in "Phil's Pics" - my first ever - wish I knew how to do it properly - is there a FAQ?

I don't like the cars!
;-D Many times have I passed along a nice place because it was full of cars. I don't consider modern cars a (usually) good photography subject. But the city is impressive. And the picture as well. Did you say 3.2 secs handheld!!?? (it seems impossible to me!)
Juan Salvatierra at 16:30 CEST on 12-Oct-2004 [Reply]
3.5 Sec?
Yes 3.5 secs I used a lamp post to brace the camera. Thank you for your comments. I'm just starting photography, so I appreciate everyones advice

Wow!
A beautiful photo. I love how it looks as though rays of light are busting from the right hand corner. It adds to the fairy tale surreal-ness of the scene.
