I thought Id tried my hand on the reverse lens technique you guys have been posting here. The spider is about 4-5mm long from head to the tip of its tail and I found it crawling on top of my desk. Its very difficult to make these little critters stay still :)

incredible colors and details ! Try to optimise DOF, FOCUS and shorten exposure time ( needs light)

The reverse setup is difficult specially if you do it by hand (with no tripod and adaptor for the lens) but its fun to play catch up with these beautiful insects :)

I also figured it needs light :-), that shot was taken with my desk lamp and computer monitor as light sources. Now that I finally know how to make this reverse lens work for me, I think Im going to take it outdoors and find some insects to cooperate with my *experiments* - that is if I can find time away from my computer :P
