In the morning I was biking to work and stopped to photograph these 5 Larus ridibundus standing on pier.

Thank you Katrina. Since 2011 when I started to drive to work by bike from March to November I have biked past these pier probably 7-8 times a week. Now it was the fog that made me stop and take the photo. And of course the birds were were the cherries on top.

Thank you. I like the subdued colours and delicate softness of morning mist. I made a black-and-white conversion and printed it on soft matt photography paper. Looks quite good it that medium too.
