A fine shot with fine colours and details. And I like it very much. But it seems that the focus needs to be accentuated a little more onto the head, the eye.
Plus, I think that a larger space onto the left side could have brought up "something" more.

Blue Heron reply
Thank you Victor for the comments. I am about as amateur as one could be and this was my first time uploading images. The Heron image as well as the Egret were taken at Myakka State Park. My son and eye are avid amateur astronomers. With that being said, this was my first attempt at attaching my camera body to my 80mm refractor telescope for terrestrial imaging in the same manner that I image deep sky objects. It was acquired and cumbersome at first but I was happy with the images. (I also have to mention that at the time I imaged the Heron, I had to keep looking over my shoulder because there was a gator about 20 feet behind me).
