great colors & composure
I like to color blend and as a fellow birder, its a great perching shot. If the bird were facing more dead-ahead even better, but I know how happen-stance that is. As shot, the birds features features and colors are well presented. Good Shot!

These birds are really hard to catch. They keep hoping around restlessly..
This has come out really well. The photo is razor sharp!

Thank you Kevin. I have taken a number of shots including some " facing more dead-ahead"...but I chose this one to post simply because this had better clarity. I even have one with the bird dipping into the flower drinking nectar!
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Thank you Ram...I guess Zuiko 70-300 is delivering acceptable results!

Nice shot of this bird Arun, a pity it's missing a lot of detail. I suspect this is due to heavy croppping.

Thank you Wim for looking! Yes, of course the pic is cropped quite a bit. I have taken this foto from a distance of around 25 feet and for your info, this bird is very small not more than 3 inches. As such I am not sure I have seen a pic with sharp details of this bird anywhere on the net.

Arun
