The quintessential elements of summer life in rural Finland - a boat and lake. Shot shortly before sunset in a mid summer night. Quality of light was poor and being a bit allergic to sunset sceneries I decided to convert all these shots into black and white. Just for curiosity: the other side on the lake on right is Russian territory.

Thank you Lee. Colours didnīt quite work in this "series" so I thought to convert all into bw and suddenly these photos became much better ... not the least to my own surprise;)
