He Hans Shooting the same birds today as I did, how nice to see this group of Eurasian Oystercatchers ...
I only saw one in my area ...Did you notice how shallow the DOF is when shooting over long distance...
You used aperture 7.1 was this done as aperture priority setting or did you shoot in the P mode...?
And last question how far were you removed from the birds...?

Hallo Fons, the shot is taking last Friday, strong wind :-(
Sometimes I can see a groep from 40 Oystercatchers. Amazing noise!
I know something about the shallow DOF with long distance and I have to leran something more about using the ED 300. It works and I' am on the way:-)
I never use the P mode, my favorite mode is always A!!
Hmm, the distance??? May be 70 meters? The crop is very small. Thank's for rating and comment.
