After the storm this lobster pot bouy was found washed up into the rocks at Pemiquid, Maine. The trap was further up with 2 live lobsters and a few crabs still in it. Yummy!

I walked a couple of miles into the woods near our home to some favorite beaver ponds following an afternoon storm. As I arrived at the ponds close to sunset the sun broke through the clouds on the horizon and illuminated the trees on the east end of the wetland. In a few more minutes a dim rainbow appeared.

Taken at the end of a 40 degree day. The beach is usually fairly deserted but this evening everyone seemed to come out of the woodwork after sunset.
